Daryl has pastored in Missouri since 2001. Prior to that, from 1986 – 2000, he was a deputy sheriff in Los Angeles County, California. Daryl and his wife Jenny live in Weston, Missouri with three of their five children. Their three daughters are now married and busy raising children. Daryl works in the corporate security field in Kansas City, Missouri. As time permits, Daryl enjoys writing for the church and for Christian Communicators Worldwide. He has authored one book (Delivered By Desire: The Encouraging Truth About Christians and Sexual Purity), and co-authored another with Jim Elliff, Steve Burchett, and Jim Chrisman (Divorce and Remarriage: A Permanence View). Daryl also writes monthly for the website Bulletin Inserts, and has written several articles and critical book reviews including “Figuring Out Christian Freedom: What Romans 14 Does and Does Not Say” and “Joel Osteen’s Your Best Life Now — A Critical Review.
