Jim has pastored or been on staff at churches in Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Much of Jim’s life has been “on the road,” teaching leaders and communicating the good news in over 35 countries and almost all the states of the U.S. through Christian Communicators Worldwide. Jim is the author of several books, including Wasted Faith, Pursuing God, Led By the Spirit, Going Under, Divorce and Remarriage: A Permanence View, co-authored with others. Jim and Pam have three children who serve Christ: Benjamin, Bryan and Laura. He desires to be used by God for motivating believers to share life in an active and loving congregation of Bible-centered, thinking Christians.
Daryl has pastored in Missouri since 2001. Prior to that, from 1986 – 2000, he was a deputy sheriff in Los Angeles County, California. Daryl and his wife Jenny live in Weston, Missouri with three of their five children. Their two oldest daughters are now married and busy raising children. Daryl works in the corporate security field in Kansas City, Missouri. As time permits, Daryl enjoys writing for the church and for Christian Communicators Worldwide. He has authored one book (Delivered By Desire: The Encouraging Truth About Christians and Sexual Purity), and co-authored another with Jim Elliff, Steve Burchett, and Jim Chrisman (Divorce and Remarriage: A Permanence View). Daryl also writes monthly for the website Bulletin Inserts, and has written several articles and critical book reviews including “Figuring Out Christian Freedom: What Romans 14 Does and Does Not Say.” and “Joel Osteen’s Your Best Life Now – A Critical Review.
Jim has served churches in Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee as Youth and Music leader as well as Pastor. Jim and Karen and four of their children had the privilege of living for two years in Warsaw Poland where they served with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. Jim has been married to Karen for 35 years. They have five grown children and are now enjoying spending time with their kids and grandchildren.They have enjoyed being part of Christ Fellowship since 2004 where they have served in the Kearney congregation. Jim also enjoys serving in a prison ministry at Crossroads Correctional Center, a maximum security prison in Cameron Missouri.
Steve pastored for nearly five years in Ohio before moving to Kansas City. He has served as one of the pastors of Christ Fellowship since 2007, thoroughly enjoying the body life and careful pastoral care that are staples of the church. He also serves with Christian Communicators Worldwide, assisting the ministry’s president, writing, and traveling throughout the country and internationally to teach the Bible at retreats, conferences, and meetings of church leaders. Originally from the plains of central Kansas, Kole has lived in the Kansas City Metro and been part of the Christ Fellowship since 2009. He served as a member and intern with the church before being appointed as an elder in 2013. He is also a writer and speaker with the ministry of Christian Communicators Worldwide. Kole is passionate about encouraging pastors, helping churches, orphan care, and teaching people how to study the Bible for themselves. He is husband to Rachel and dad to Karter and Russell.
North Kansas City
Jordan was appointed as an elder with Christ Fellowship in 2017. Originally from Southwest Kansas, Jordan moved to Kansas City and joined Christ Fellowship in 2009 after finishing a missions internship in Southeast Asia. Jordan works for an IT company in Kansas City, and lives with his wife Anna and their five children in Gladstone. Jordan enjoys teaching the Bible, discipling men in his congregation, and serving Christ in his workplace.
